Our adventure begins on Wednesday but we’re focused on making lists, saying last minute goodbyes and of course, packing. If you know me you know I never travel light. Each time that I prepare for a trip I set out with good packing intentions - especially now since most airline carriers charge you if your suitcase is over 50lbs. Oh yes, I know that all to well. Since we’re driving out in the RV, I have no baggage limitations or weight restrictions which is downright dangerous. I’ve begun making piles of things that need to go into boxes. Our guest bed looks like my closet exploded. I have 14 pairs of shoes lining the perimeter of the room. And yes, I do feel like I could justify why I need each pair of them.
Thankfully, we’re having dinner with friends at the delish Skinner’s Loft shortly so I’m going to step away from the packing for a bit. Hopefully when I return later, I can eliminate at least 7 pairs of shoes and ¼ of the clothes I have laid out. That’s a good start, right? Oh, and for the record, Jimmy hasn’t even packed one thing yet! HA!
